Tanya Tocheva, Attorney at Law, co-founded T&M Law Office in the year 2004 after having worked for more than four years as in-house lawyer for Eurobank JSC (subsequently having merged with Piraeous Bank) and being a senior legal advisor at KPMG Bulgaria in the period 2001 - 2004.

Ms. Tocheva has extensive experience in the field of general corporate and banking law, corporate reorganizations and restructurings and public procurement procedures; she has prepared all kinds of legal due diligence documents and specializes in the areas of real estate and construction, project development and finance. Ms. Tocheva has completed major projects in the banking, industrial and telecommunications sector, and on the real estates market such as: the transfer of majority stake of Eurobank JSC in 2001, legal due diligence of Mobiltel JSC (the first Bulgarian mobile operator), Cabletel JSC (the largest national cable operator in Bulgaria acquired by a group of strategic US investors), Biohim bank JSC. (subsequently merged with UniCredit Bulbank), Devin JSC (one of the first Bulgarian private companies for bottling and sale of bottled mineral water), the winery Domein Menada, VINPROM – Rousse JSC, Alen Mak (the first Bulgarian perfumery factory).

Ms. Tocheva has advised clients on a number of real estate acquisitions and subsequent property management regarding real estate in the towns of Sofia and Plovdiv, as well as in the ski resorts of Bansko and Borovets. She also has an extensive litigation practice in different areas such as commercial (including insolvency), administrative, tax and civil law cases.

Her specific experience includes also providing legal advice and assistance to BenchMark Group (the leading non-banking financial institution in Bulgaria) for establishing White Label Partnership with Saxo Bank JSC and legal due diligence and advice with respect to the construction and operation of the second nuclear power plant in Bulgaria Belene NPP for the strategic foreign investor RWE Power AG.

Ms. Tocheva has a license for official IP representative with the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria.
